is there anything better than strolling down rue st. sulpice, deep in the heart of st. germain des pres?

nestled in the bosom of the 6th (6ieme arrondisement) this lovely street may lack the charm of rue jacob or a stroll along the seine, but what it does have is quintessential street life of my favorite ville. shops glow at twilight, locals bustle along, even stopping to challenge an ugly american (unsuccessfully!) and everyone seems to be headed for YSL or Pierre Hermé ...
